At Garden House Design, we take pride in our designs. Therefore, we have created a process that allows you to understand the steps that we will take together to build your perfect garden space. If you love a particular theme, or have ideas of your own, they are always welcome! We will always do our best to follow the brief. THE PROCESS...

INITIAL CONSULTATION

The first step is a FREE 45-minute initial consultation. This might be over the phone, with or without a video call, or a meeting at our showroom. We will discuss your vision and requirements for your new outdoor space.

We then follow this up with a formal design proposal of what has been discussed to make sure we have understood your requirements.

After the consultation with us, you will purchase a design deposit of £500.00 to get the ball rolling.

SURVEY

We really hope at this stage we've got your brief just right and that you will like us to go ahead with your garden design, whereby we will now arrange to personally survey your soon to be new outdoor space!

DESIGN & FINAL QUOTATION

Once we have a clearer understanding of your current outdoor space and what you would like to achieve with the area, we will start work on the design...gets exciting now!

We will prepare visualisations of what the area could look like with your new outdoor space. This will include key features close to the area, such as boundaries & buildings, planting, Canopy, outdoor kitchen, furniture and finished floor surfaces. (Depending on your vision of course.) This will help bring the vision for the outdoor space to life and give you something to look forward to!

PLANTING STAGE

This part of the process allows you to investigate the planting style you would like in your garden design. We will create a to-scale plan of the planting to show you each plant and where they will go. When we have had your approval, we will then create some mood boards of the types of plants, the colour scheme, and textures of the garden. We even add the names of the plants too!

When you are happy to move on, we will go through detailed schedule with you to make sure we have everything in place. This will consist of the type of plants, the quantities of each plant, the different sizes and a breakdown of the pricing.

Once we have agreed with everything and you are happy, we can begin the build! We will schedule in a date that works best with you. Then you can enjoy your gorgeous garden!
