Shop our range of DeliVita ovens to elevate your Christmas menu. Here at Garden House Design, we pride ourselves on being able to live outside for longer, and Christmas is no different. We have collected our favourite festive fancies for you to get creative in your DeliVita Outdoor Oven.
Pigs in Blankets
Impress your guests with honey-glazed pigs in blankets, served with cranberry dipping sauce.
Ingredients:
60ml / 4tbsp runny honey
One pack of smoked bacon
900g chipolatas
Cranberry sauce
Whilst prepping the food, fire up your oven to optimum temperature and allow it to cool down to a roasting environment - keep the temperature constant at 200 degrees C. Chop up the chipolatas in to pieces around 1-2 inches long. Roll these in the honey until they are well covered, followed by wrapping each sausage in a rasher of smoked bacon. Put the wrapped sausages in a roasting tin lined with foil and cook for 30-40 minutes. Serve on a wooden board with a dish of cranberry sauce. Add a sprig of holly to really wow your guests!
Cranberry & Brie Parcels
A lovely festive nibble and the perfect appetiser for your Christmas Menu.
Ingredients:
18oz puff pastry
1lb Brie cheese
Cranberry Sauce
Fire up your pizza oven to the optimum temperature as usual and allow it to cool down to about 250 degrees C. Cut the puff pastry sheet into approximately 3 inch x 3 inch squares. Cube the brie into roughly 3/4 of an inch. Press each square into a muffin cavity and place a cube of brie in each parcel. Top with a dollop of cranberry sauce and bake for around 10 minutes or until you notice the edges are starting to turn golden.
Lucious Leftover Pizza
Ingredients: (1 pizza)
250g pizza dough
For the sauce:
150g tinned tomatoes
5 basil leaves
1tsp oregano
Pinch of salt and sugar
For the toppings:
Leftover turkey, cut into slices
6-8 pigs in blankets
5-6 slices of brie
2tbsp cranberry sauce
2tbsp stuffing (premade or packet)
1tbsp gravy granules, finely crushed
For the sauce, place all of the ingredients in a blender and pulse until your desired consistency. Fire up your pizza oven to 500 degrees C. Using a small amount of flour, dust your DeliVita Pizza Peel. Stretch out the dough and lay it over your pizza peel. Spread an even layer of the tomato sauce, topped with brie slices, turkey and pigs in blankets. Cook the dough for 3-5 minutes, turning regularly. Once all the cheese is melted, remove the pizza and top with stuffing, gravy granules and cranberry sauce.
